Please note that by agreeing to the following Terms and Conditions, advertisers in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette's pet category affirm that they are in compliance with Section 634.11 ADVERTISING OF ANIMAL SALES, of the City of Pittsburgh Code of Ordinances which states that any person and/or legal entity who is required to have a license to sell animals or a kennel license under this Chapter, the Pennsylvania Dog Law, the Federal Animal Welfare Act, or any other local, county, state or federal law or regulation, and who offers an animal for sale in a newspaper, posting, through the mail, over the internet or through any other form of media advertisement, shall prominently include within the text of any such advertisement the license number, name and address of the licensed person or legal entity, as is filed with the appropriate licensing agency.
